New brake caliper

Noticed a horrible shuddering coming through the steering wheel at 50-70 mph. Went away under hard braking or speeding up.
Got home and felt all discs and calipers. Nearside front disc and caliper were scorching. Much more than the other three corners so seems I have a sticking caliper.

Has anyone had the pleasure of buying one recently and if so where and how much.

Many thanks

Mike

Hi mike. I had same issue about £60 fornew caliper. Has stopped the juddering. Can be found on eBay for less I believe

Or take the lot off and send to big red refurb and sprayed

Thanks for the replies guys. I did think about the bigg red option. Makes sense if one caliper has played up, the other three may also soon.
Any idea what they charge? I'll drop them a line today as I can't see any relevant prices on their site.

I'm not sure M calipers are that cheap.

My NSF front caliper seized and was replaced under warranty at about 90,000 miles. My other calipers are all still original and are on 150,000 miles - although the pads, shoes & discs have been replaced many times.

I used this company for four calipers on my old 911, they arrived good as new and were original Porsche, just refurbed so I was happy for the money. The caliper doesn't look right in the photo so I suspect the photo is generic, but the 28mm disc width and 60mm piston is correct.

Can I ask which warranty sorted out your caliper?- I have bmw warranty and they told me mine was not covered-thanks

Well they did my maserati calipers and because I posted my pics on their fb site I had the lot done and painted for £200 all in I think or less
Spoke to guys before as used them

Replaced my nearside front caliper a few months back. Cost me around £200 fitted. You can get a silver caliper and then paint it Black. The Black caliper is daft money for some reason. Basically the same part. :?
