Had a sit in one at a car show. It is sooo much better looking that the previous car. Interior is also very nice. It suggests that the new Cayman will be a very good looking motor indeed.

Here you go if you want a sneak preview of the new Cayman....

No doubt the Cayman will have basically the same interior.

I love the new Boxster, but I liked the old one too,...maybe next time I swap cars :driving:

Do you think when these test drivers are snapped on the road it's a "Bollocks" or "Yey". I'm sure most are setups to get the publicity.

I just got my Z4 instead of a boxster. Was a toss-up between the two until i sat in the Boxster (2006 model). Awful seats for a six-footer, with no thigh support. I tried several and they were all the same. Not worth even driving one. Let's hope this new one, which looks fantastic, has got the seats sorted out. And the IMS seal. Then maybe in a few years' time I can pick up a S/H one!

Why a girl's car? Some say the Cayman is everything the 911 should have evolved into. Light, mid engined and joyous handling.

I've never driven one but I have driven a Boxster and several 911s and to be honest, the 911 left me cold. That's not to say I don't like them, I do but not sure I'd actually buy one.

Patrick's just made the choice to go Cayman when looking for a 911 after his MC which says a lot.

Didn't like it when I saw it at Geneva but I think that was down to the awful colours they had on show. Drive past a Porsche garage on the way to work so have seen loads now, the have one in speed yellow and another in guards red that look fantastic.

When I took a notion for a poncy soft top I initially favoured the boxster. Test drove a 987 and agree that it was uncomfortable for me at 6ft. The interior on the new 981 is leagues ahead although it does seem to share many parts with the latest Audis including the A3.

Chris Harris done a great review of the 981. He said for the first time he thought it was better than the 911, even the current 991 incarnation.

The artists impressions I've seen of the next Caymen look fantastic. I think I'm going to want one.

PS revesby37 I think they sorted the IMS problem with the newer engines in 2006/07.
