Hi Everyone,

I've just bought my first sports car and my first BMW too swapping a diesel Audi A3 Sportback for a BMW Z4 2.5si Roadster :D

Full BMW Service History, 67k
Auto with Paddle-Shifts
Black Sapphire Metallic
Oregon/beige Leather electronically operated and heated seats
Park Distance Control (PDC)
HiFi speaker system
Bluetooth Prep

A couple of questions I have hopefully someone will be able to assist me with, what sort of kit do I need to add iPod integration? I had a look at the original factory specification and it mentions "Preparation, BMW 6-CD changer I-bus" but it doesn't actually have a 6CD changer in the centre console behind the seats so I'm not sure how I would go about connecting something like a Dension?

Here are a few pictures, I will take some more and upload them when we have some nice weather again

What year is it billabong? If you're lucky you may find an auxiliary socket below your heater controls underneath the dash - take a look. If not there are lots of how to's on the Forum - try a search.

Nice looking Zed - I like the interior.

:driving:

Hi Paul,

It's 2007, I have found the AUX port but looking to be able to control the iPod through the steering wheel controls.

Thanks I'll do a search and see what I can find.

Hi and welcome.

Nice black roadster and a great interior colour - I occasionally think I should have held out for one that's not black inside.

Enjoy :driving:

Hi there Welcome along to a great Forum. :D

No Idea on the Ipod thingies. The CD player you find in some Zeds between the seats is normally the Sat Nav disk. The one on the dash or is for music.

Thanks for sharing some pics of your new P&J

Welcome to the forum, look up Denison or Alpine for iPod connectivity.

Not sure there is any point in Intravee as you don't have nav.

Thanks! I have had a read through other forum posts looks like Dension might be the best option for me. Not sure if anyone has experience of fitting this in the Centre console behind the seats using the included wiring loom? I would prefer this setup over connecting it directly to the head unit and placing in the glove box.

In between the showers this weekend I have managed to get the Zed cleaned and polished
