Well I got free tickets to the Ferrari Racing day at Silverstone for today so I took a mate and off we went.
Picked up a bird on the A43 on the way but sorry, we had to drop you off because they were only giving away 2 tickets per car!
Anyway as I said recently on another thread birds seem to love Coupes - this one couldn't wait until we stopped to try to get in, but 70 ish is probably never a good idea!
On the brighter side minimal damage to Z4 - would have been much more serious with a big bird. :roll:
 
You're very lucky, I hit a pheasant this year but the bird took out the fog lamp, lower grill and I also lost the headlight washer cover. The bumper also required a respray, total damage bill £600 :cry:
 
I have a photo of the front of your car from the day :) I was in a grey coupe with 224s parkeda bit further up!

Also saw an immaculate mcoupe with CSLs on, no idea whose it was but I'll upload the photos tomorrow from a computer!
 
Sounds like I was very lucky, maybe because I did hit it "on the wing".
It came from the nearside so it nearly made it :( .
Look forward to seeing Ed Doe's photos - nice to know there is another E86 so near (I am in Sandhurst).

you know how it is - there's 70 ish and then maybe 71 ish!
After we improved the aero. and lost a couple of kilos (as in bird removed) we latched onto a Ferrari 355 so were probably around 72 ish (very ish) for the last few miles! :driving:
 
Do you mean 72 leptons? We had a bit of fun with a Testarossa and a 599 on the way up too!

I'll pop your photos up tomorrow, haven't been at a desk to do it so far this week!
