So, last count it's:

Anyone bringing +1, so I can book lunch.

Roughly the plan is, start at 8:00 outside Reading. Drive until about 10:00, rest / coffee stop. Stage 2, will finish outside Henley for lunch 12:00 - 12:30 depending on how long a break we take and traffic.

There may be someone joining us at the break point - not on the forum (yet), but Z4 driver.

I'll ping a PM round this morning.

I wanted to come along, but my new E89 was returned a week after collection, with Coopers planning to re-deliver on Sunday at around 10am. They've given me an auto E89 for now, lots of fun but I'll stick with stick!

Maybe next time. Enjoy, and post photos.

Am going to be offline soon, as this meet's on my doorstep I thought I'd head to Bristol for the night. If any more requests come through pretty much everyone on the list has the details - except NickM as he's dropping out. I think we should go on anyway, it's what he would have wanted :P
 
I'm jealous guys. Being quite local, I would love to come but have to entertain some visiting guests tomorrow. Have fun tomorrow! :driving:

Okay... to get in first...

Lessons learned...
1. the nav routes... just because it's one thing on ITN convertor > Navigon don't expect the same on TomTom!
2. Z4s don't like special rally stages (see above)
3. Think bike - that's me having a close call for not paying attention :oops:
4. Put the drinks on a tab, because you never know :D
5. Be at the front so that by the time local loon with a pair of sheers comes at the group he's just after the tail gunners.

Despite all that, was a good morning to be out... thanks to those who made the effort to come from further afield - for once, not me!

I enjoyed myself, a good morning out - made good progress on stage 1 :driving:

Great mornings drive. Good to meet some new faces too. Cheers for organising the route Pawn! The final stop was a great choice too, be going back there without a doubt. Now for some F1 action. Perfect Sunday!

Great run out and my first real blast in the Zed, been motorway driving until now.

Yeah the guy with the shears would have made a mess on my front. Bit more than a bug ;-)
