New Beige Floor Mats Colour Mismatch

I ordered some new beige floor mats for my E85 from BMW via eBay, part number 51477056297. They are a completely different shade to the existing mats, and carpet. Is this to be expected as the existing interior has 'yellowed' over the past 19 years? Or have I ordered the wrong mats? The only other part numbers seem to be for anthracite and grey (which shows as discontinued) coloured mats.

Most likely because those aren't OEM original BMW floor mats. The Z4 floormats have the Z4 logo on the sides on both the driver and passenger mat.

The new matts came from BMW, so I would be very surprised if they're not OEM. The old matts do not have a Z4 logo either.

You can buy a version of the mats with a Z4 logo (or a compass for the Maritime set), but the basic/standard mats do not have any logo (not even the individual colours).

But they definitely look too light to me...should be more like this...

Although the last 2-3 of sets I've bought from BMW (anthrazit for mine) seem to be getting lower quality every time. The last set had cracks in the 'rubber' base...so got a refund and have kept my older ones.
 
Having queried this, I received a curious reply from BMW today, presumably 'metal' is a typo for 'material'... Still none the wiser.

"The part number is correct for the vin no. supplied , unfortunately this is the only part number available if the colour is different it might be where the metal is sourced from.
We can offer a 10% discount as a gesture of goodwill or a collection for a refund."
