New Battery - Exide EK700 AGM 096

Wise sages,

Can someone please confirm this battery is suitable for my car (2010 sDrive30i)

It matches everything on my current battery (760CCA, 70AH) and is the correct '096' size that all the websites say should be suitable for my model - but would be good to hear from someone who has replaced first hand.

(yes there are plenty of other options with the same spec, this seemed a decent price for a well reviewed battery)

Are you saying it was an 80ah or you replaced it with an 80ah as my 35is had the 70ah battery

My original battery was a Varta 80ah agm, the size was also 315 x 175 x 190mm
 
The 20i non stop start uses 70ah..later stop start uses 80ah.some versions in various countries used 80ah...

You can fit either providing you update the capacity and register if it’s 80ah ..just register it if it’s 70 ah..

No real benefit in fitting 80ah unless you want to ‘feel better’ on the basis more is better.. :rofl:

I have fitted an 80ah to replace my original 70ah..I discovered the hard way that the 90ah doesn’t quite fit..
 
After months of getting a CC-ID 415 from the original 2009 battery on my 23i I just replaced it with the EXIDE 096 AGM CAR BATTERY 70AH AGM700 EK700 on the recommendation of Dean at DWMotorsports, my local indy in Throckley (Newcastle). It fits fine and now I'm error free :)
