it looks like im holding the car with problems batton at the mo as along with the ever growing crack in the screen, ding on the door, bumper and other bits the lovely Z has now developed a really really really really annoying rattle, did i mention its really annoying?
basically its right by the drivers ear, happens on every bump (of which liverpool excels in providing), and sounds like some one has chucked a marble in the roof drain.
i think by some careful door open hanging out diagnostics I've narrowed it down to something in the door. is suspect its related to the ding.
with the door shut and moving over bumps the rattle is in that area and is like something clunking on plastic rather than a loose bearing/bush sound. with the door open and moving over bumps its not as obvious and the sound is different more metalic as if the loose thing has isnt as held tight. this lead me to look at the door more.if you get hold of the door and swing it back and forth like your tyring to throttle it you can hear something clunking and its around the locking tell tale that pops up. if you hold this it is less pronounced. i think its coming there.
