New alloys

I have just put new 19" staggered alloys on 235 35 front 265 35 rear no problems all but tyre indicator comes on & stays on is this something I have to put up with or is there a solution any suggestions please

Pictures would help the forum solve your issue :oops: but in the meantime try ignition to first turn , then press & hold the TPMS button for a few seconds :thumbsup:

Sorry for being thick but pictures of what & TMPS stands for ? But thanks for your help
 
What year is your car?
Depending on the year you may need TPMS valves fitted to each of the wheels in order for the system to work properly.
Older cars do not need these valves in the wheels but still need the system to be reset after the tyre pressures are set.

Sorry for being thick but pictures of what & TMPS stands for ? But thanks for your help

Well its been a while since my 89 experience but iirc the button was near the heated seat one :? underneath the radio :? have you not got the handbook with manual in it ?

Theres no button on the E89s for the TPMS, it is done through the idrive or stalk

How slick :oops: just like the 1 series we had , op has a 09 89 so that should sort his problem :thumbsup:
