HELP!

I'm in search of new Alloys for my Zed.

I currently have the nasty 16" Star Alloys and they have just got to go! Unfortunately I have no concept of offsets and other technical terms - so I would appreciate any helpfull suggestions/guidance. I think 18's are the way to go - but thats not set in stone...

Thanks in advance :P

Just put some 18" MV2's on mine, you need 8.5s on the back and 8's on the front, i always think genuine bmw wheels look better rather than after markets...

my pics are on there of the new wheels

i agree, i would rather go for oem genuine bmw wheels rather than after market wheels.. there are afew different styles available, maybe best to search ebay and get a second hand set cheap then refurb to suit.. unless you can a set in good condition that is ;)

i would normally agree oem but i bought some bbs lm reps in 19" and they are superb wheels no fitment or rubbing and look fantastic 38 front and 45 rear offsets from sorted alloy wheels

Couldnt agree more, i also have 19" BBS LM reps with staggered fitment, 235/35/19 Fronts & 265/30/19 Rears. Look great. How about some CSL's, they were my very close second choice.

Def stick to OEM, unless you are very sure of the manufacturer and quality. They can be very heavy.
For the same reason given that you have a 2.0 I'd suggest keep to the 18's or you'll struggle with all that unsprung mass, not to mention the deterioration in ride quality going in one leap from 16" to 19"

Of course it all depends on what you're trying to achieve and what compromises you'll accept
