The non-BMW dealer over-prices the car by at least £5k. Most sDrive35i with similar options (DCT and Adaptive M Sport Suspension) on autotrader and BMW website are priced from £38k-£40k. No one will buy over-priced new Z4 from non-BMW dealer anyway.
on friday whilst bored at work i specc'd a new one out with all the options i wanted, came out at £52k, so i agree id never pay that type of money they are asking on ph! looks good in black too i think, but that white one on ph - those wheels painted black are awful!
Popped into my dealer this morning (that sounds very dodgy) with the wife's 1 series and they offered me 10% off list on a new z4 without even beginning to haggle. I think they're struggling to sell them, just like most premium dealers, and you could get around 15% off list. Doesn't bode well for resale value though.
you know what, i have hated the new z4 ever since i saw a picture, it hasnt helped that all the ones i have seen in the flesh have looked very basic and under wheeled. This thing has changed my opinion massively! ...i love it.
Satin black wheels really do look naff. The car has hardcore colours but is a soft-core car. Racer looks, but cruiser dynamics.
I'm still far from a fan of the car personally, the SLK AMG is tons more appealing to me if I want a pocket rocket muscle car GT type thing.
Pessimist I know. Just this car has a hard act to follow the SLK, while BMW's "past" ethic of ultimate driving machine and sports cars was more able for fighting against the Boxster imho
Should come in decent coloured metallics and silver wheels etc, and just look 'nice'
This faux sporty look really is tacky stuff for BMW to be getting into imho!
