Well after a lot of searching and some negotiations I've finally found myself a new zed. Loved the 2 litre that I've had for the last two years and been a great reliable car but the itch for a 3 litre with a few gadgets wouldnt go away.

Off for a train trip tomorrow to collect it. Electric memory heated sports seats. PDC. Sat nav. M sport pack. Unmarked MV2's with 6mm pilot sports all round. Black with black leather. Can't wait to collect it in the morning. Nice drive back planned through the Cotswolds then up through the Malvern hills and on to iron bridge for a New Year's Eve stop over then a run through north wales New Year's Day. Pics to follow :driving:

Enjoy James and we'll await the pics tomorrow evening.

If you're anywhere near GL7 6BA (AV8 cafe, Cotswold Arifield) between 09:00 and 11:30 there's 10 Zeds on a breakfast meet, so feel free to swing through

Thanks Number5, train doesn't arrive at Basingstoke until 10 so after a test and sort out the readies I can't see me making it there before 11. Maybe il see ur convoy on the road as that's the way I'm probably going to head across

Congratulations on the late prezzie for yourself OP!

I have to agree, a 3.0Si is great - you should really enjoy the drive home!

Look forward to the photos next year.

Nice one James! Is this the same car that you told me about up at Scartop? If so did you nail his hat on price wise? Look forward to the photos and seeing it in the flesh at the next meet. Hope you and Alison had a good Xmas and all the best. Enjoy your drive back ! :driving:

Yes Simon it's that same car. Hope all is well with you both and everytging turned out as planned over the festive period. It's took me about 6 weeks to sort this one out. Just at the station now at stupid o'clock waiting for the train to Euston.

errrr you forgot to say something....................................roof down!

Yes, thanks James. It is all going very well here thanks. We've all had a good Xmas. Hope it all went well for your Alison.

Well that was a wasted trip. Plugged the scanner in and it lit up like a Christmas tree. Vanos codes, cam bearing codes, lambada sensors, drivers window won't operate, brake warning light won't cancel out after brake change. Guy wouldn't budge to take into account the faults so the search goes on I'm afraid.

I'd be buying this forum car if i was in the market right now

That's a lovely motor but I got black with red leather seats now and I fancy a change. I'm in no rush so I'll just keep looking till I find what I want. Ideally I want grey with black interior
