Hello,
I joined the forum a couple of weeks ago, looking for a car. Have had lots of helpful advice.

Here is a picture of the new toy......great fun so far.

Have got some spacers to fit next (based on posts on the forum have got 15mm for the fronts and 20mm for the rears).

Welcome! I work in mk so will keep an eye out for a blue roadster with blue seats. Cant be that many about?

Thanks guys - will fit the spaces over Christmas.

JonnyB - I dont think there are that many with the two-tone blue/black interior - suspect its a bit marmite as interiors go. I love it, but realise that some wont. Am planning to get a service and a few bits done to it, was planning to use autowerx in MK, they seem to have good reviews.

Hi Neighbour !

Good to see there's another forumite in the area! - I can vouch for Autowerx, they painted my front bumper last year and their work is excellent. The fellas there come from a BMW background and know the cars well.

All the best.

Stu.

You'll love your 3.0si - great engine and performance.

Welcome to the forum and get out on some 'hoons' really adds to the ownership experience.

:driving:

Thanks for the messages,

Stu, thanks for the recommendation. Will get it booked in.

Am still getting to know the car, so not too much 'hooning'. The tyres the previous owner fitted on the front arent great, so also need to swap them first.

Looks great. Interested to see what those spacers look like without lowering springs.

If you're after a decent route to chuck it down on a clear Sunday morning (you might know this already) - head to Wing and then on to Mentmore and Cheddington via a swoopy, often deserted road called "Park Gate".

Thanks MrPT - I have driven that road a few years back (when heading to mentmore - however hadnt thought of it since I have had the Z4 - once the ice has gone will give it a go.......

Am also intrigued to see whether the car will need lowering springs......am trying to keep it relatively stock at present, but cant help tinkering....
