New 3.0si roadster owner

Hi All, having been frequenting the forum for the last couple of months I am now the proud owner of a 2008 3.0si se roadster. It's been a painful 6 week wait to collect the car as the chap I bought it off was waiting for his new car to be delivered. It has definitely been worth the wait and have spent most of the day out and about getting used to it. It's definitely a whole different kettle of fish than my 205 which I have been using as my daily driver for the last couple of months after selling my old car a bit prematurely!

I've been following lots of threads with interest and am sure I will be after plenty of advice! I've got a nice new set of exhaust trims to fit (Thanks to machine monkey) as the existing ones are definitely past their best. Beyond that I think a good detail to get rid of a few minor light swirl marks and potentially look to relocate the roof motor as a preventative measure. It's been garaged to date and not needed to be done.

A few obligatory pictures, I hope they work!

Nice and nice 205 gti 1.6. Got a modified 1.9 myself still but never gets used, spends all its time at my friends garage locked away! Where we promise to use it for track days but never seem to get around to it. :(

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

The pug has been my project for the last couple of years, bought with the intention of tracking it but got a bit carried away on the 'restoration'! It was a good honest car but needed a bit of tlc, it's now had respray, new trims and mechanical freshen up with new suspension, brake lines etc. Engine pretty standard. It puts a good smile on my face :D

Love the pug oh the memories of my 1.9 in the eighties, used to call it my Porsche eater. Nice Z by the way welcome to the SI Roadster club

That interior is stunning; unique combination that actually works together.
