Just purchased. Great shape except the radio does not work and the top does not work.

Every thing on the radio seems to work except, no sound. Removed fuses 47 and 50 for 15 minutes. No help. Disconnected the battery for 30 minutes. No help. Where do I go from here?

The top does nothing. The previous owner had installed a new pump in the trunk. He had removed the cover over the latching assembly?? How to trouble shoot? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the pump operating?

There is a pull cable in the roof of the boot that disconnects the drive from the motor, to allow you to lower and raise the roof manually. Is that all functioning? Can you lower and raise the roof manually?

Does the light come on/flash, when you press the roof lower or raise buttons?

Alas I'm no expert on the roof operation, just mining for information and bumping your thread, until one comes along.

Do you mean the one on the front screen?
If so that would imply he's been unlocking it manually? Have you tried that, then see if the motor works?
