New 2003 3.0i Owner

Evening all,

Thought I'd introduce myself formally after pilfering this forum for many, many useful tips, tricks and mods already.

Picked up my Zed from Southampton 2 weeks ago, covered about 600 miles in it since, starting with the drive home up to Birmingham. It's a 2003 3.0i in black with tan leather, 6 speed manual, heated seats and sat nav. Absolutely loving it so far and really enjoying modifying it a little!

So, without further ado, some terrible iphone pics that I took while it was raining outside!

Mods I've done already include:
Cruise Control retrofit (it was horrible cutting into the lovely unmarked plastic)
Dice Mediabridge install
Noise Generator mod (just the one foam removed, nearest the bulkhead)

Jobs that I want to get done soon:
Perform a steering wheel button retrofit (not too fussed about the M wheel)
Clean out the roof motor drains
Change the wheels (really not my cup of tea, much prefer the 107s)
Get some better pictures up!
 
Welcome - Keep on top of the cream interior as it can be a pain to keep clean

Where about's in brum are you?

I'm a central brummie for the mean time, but I'll be moving up to Aberdeen in the very near future for work! Convertible + Scottish weather may not seem like the best idea in most books, but hopefully I'll get covered parking up there too and all will be fine. This will be my daily driver so finger crossed for no major mishaps!!!
 
Hello, ye I just bought a 3.0 yesterday (2009) in silver plus red.
Don't pickup until next Friday
Really interested in the cruise control mod; just a bit confused if its still possible on the later models ie post 2004
Can anybody help and/or provide a link?
What's involved and how much.

Yes thanks will post some pics when I pickup the car
Have found some more details of the post 2004 cruise control retrofit in the how to do section
Think this will be a first mod :D
