New 2 Z4-Forum

Hi all,

Been a member of PH's for a few years and thought I would join in with you guys/girl as loads of interesting crack going on. Have had my 07 Z4MC for 15 months now and still lovin it, or should I say Her!.

She is Ruby Black, Imola Red Leather and has piano black trim. I have obviously thought about mod's/upgrades over the time of ownership and have just purchased some 19'' CSL 'style' wheels in Black Chrome, and after ponderreding for some time as to the shoes to wrap them in and after reading lots of reviews and forums decided to opt for the OEM conti 3's which I know alot of owners on here dont like, but to be honest I have found them more than capable.

Went for 275/30/19 on the rear to give an even more aggressive stance, and have only just managed to fit them after having them sat in my living room for a week, but it has been a bit wet here in Cumbria!!!

I have a photo pre CSL wheels which I will try to post now,

MMmmm Ruby Black. :thumbsup: Would have been my #1 choice if they gave that choice to us here. And the Imola Red interior... HEAVEN!

Welcome! You are in a lovely part of the country with some great roads.
Yet another MC on CSL's. The coupe does suit them :thumbsup: Some nice pics would be good, if it ever stops raining.

Hi, welcome to the forum. The OEM tyres on these were the ancient original Conti's which had long been superceded even when the Z4M was launched. The Conti 3 tyres are very capable by all accounts.

Yes that is/was my Elise 111s which sadly has now been sold, I had her for 4 years and enjoyed an intimate relationship. An excellent car, but needed to part with her to make room in my life for the Z4MC.

Will post some pics prior to her departure, and will try and get some pic's of the 'M' with the newly fitted 'Black Chrome CSL's',. which look mint. the only thing is it is dark when I go to work and when I return so the w-end will be the only chance - but as I have said earlier the weather is aweful @ the mo.

My rears need replacing, is it ok to have Conti M3s on the front and Conti 3's on the rear? Don't want another set of Conti M3s and don't want to bin my two ok front tyres.
