Definately go with refurbed.
I have done it on my roadster and have been happy with the results. You do need to decide whether you are splitting and reassembling them yourself (to save money) or finding an overhauler to do both.
On my roadster I split and assembled myself, the first time was a night mare with two bolts shearing and one bolt stripping the thread (half of the thread depth) on assembling.
On the second occaision I was extra carefull and removed without problems, used a tap to clean all threads and they went back in fine. I did have to make a cider press though to gently push the inners back in.
I have a set of 108's for my car, cant decide whether to sell them or keep them as back up.

They're one of the most reputable wheel sellers going in the BMW world, so no worries there, for me the price is a little high. You could have a superb refurb of your own done for £500.
I have a set of 108's off of the car at the moment, already split down, I'm about to get those all sorted and refurbed in the same manner, I'd probably have them sold on for £500 to give you a guide price.
