Never seen one of these before today!

We once hired one of these when on holiday in Rhodes a few years ago. The roads there were pretty grim and we had to cross a river bed, at which point a door fell off. On the way over the mountains to the other side of the island from where we were staying the brakes failed. So my memories of this particular vehicle are not wonderful!😊

I think you'll find that is actually a standard 2CV that happened to be parked just behind the Maginot Line when the tanks rolled through. :D

A Citroen Moke, perish the thought. :driving:

A Mini Moke without such high quality standards
Rob

Without doubt the best and most advanced feature of the entire contraption, is the knitted duck on the tow hitch. :D

:o But it has ABS. Any suggestions as to what that means on a Citroen?

acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, a hard composite plastic used to make car bodies and cases for computers and other appliances.

I think the answer is ‘not a lot’. It’s a bit like some BMWs where the owners have stuck on MSport badges that don’t mean anything.
:D

One of my Dutch neighbours drives an orange one of these in all seasons. Has a fullside frame/hood for it, but still, fk that in its left ear!
oh, he wears klompen all year round too, saw him slipping around on petrol station forecourt a few years ago.
He probably likes to have a nice 'shmoke' in it too.

I think you'd have to be "shmoking" something to drive one of those all year!

It was a bigger succes than the Moke. Almost 3 times as much Méhari's built.
Pretty cool car.
Quite a bit more expensive in good nick than a lot of z4's

I like it. I think it is really cool and would have one (only as a toy mind). I have seen these in the UK; not for a long time mind.

A metric socket set, set of cheap screwdrivers, a few elastic bands and a can of 3-in-1 would keep it on the road forever. Lot to be said for that IMHO.
