Neither xenon is working

Hi all,

Firstly, apologies...I'm confusing myself here.

Neither of my xenon headlights work (full beam etc. within both units are fine).

My n/s headlight has cracked and all the internals have corroded away (straight forward enough) but my o/s unit is brand new - could the n/s issues be shorting the circuit resulting in both of them not working?

Or could it be that the ballast on the o/s unit has gone too?

Possibly, but if anything has shorted out the first thing to check is the fuse.

That will most likely be the issue if you had a short.

Just make sure that if it is the fuse that blown, disconnect the corroded headlight and then test to see if the other one still works otherwise it will short again
