Neil's Coupe

Just some more pictures.

Took the car out for Homegrown which was last night.

Huge thanks to Bally for these killer pictures!

After I made my way closer to home, opted to get out for a quick picture myself. Just a quick shot.

So having driven both back to back, it's no surprise what a difference the sports seats and wheels make to the car! So much nicer to be sat in/behind.

Great pictures but they really dont do the car justice it looks even better in the flesh even for a coupe :poke:

Nice, loving playing with mine. Just bought a 1.4 extender to play with.

Lovely!

Not quite ready for extenders yet! Next purchase will be a 35mm or a 50mm prime

I bought the 50mm prime - used that during a wedding, excellent result without flash.

Not a major update, just getting the car ready for summer and all that good stuff. The roadster has been receiving much of my effort and time as of late.

Ended up replacing the discs, pads and sensors. All with ATE parts. No need for pictures, pretty self explanatory there.

Next step was to remove the daytonas. With the wheels off, I was an opportunity to clean the barrels properly and hit them with a good amount of sealant.

Next came the MOT. (Borrowed a set of mv3's for that, thanks mum!). All I can say is I want to echo everyone who thinks 18"s with non-run flats are where it's at for comfort.

I almost didn't want to give them back!

Pleased to say that the car passed! Now onto preparing the car for this Saturday where it'll be at Goodwood for Players Classic.

Started with new grills (which are now fitted) as well as fog light blanking plates, and lastly, a new front splitter.

Oh yeah, and you can see the Tiger Claws made their way onto the roadster.

 that's why I stuck religiously to 18s!

I genuinely think when you get the Daytonas back on... Chrome surround on the kidneys would look nicer :)

Ps you could have shut the bonnet for the last pic!

:P

Any info or pictures of the fog light plates please? I've bought that splitter too, going to fit it when bumper is repainted! Car looks stunning btw!

I'm seriously debating about running a decent 18" setup on the daily now. Was blown away at the difference non-runflats actually make.

Where did you get the fog light blanks from? My fogs are terrible so was considering removing them since replacements are so expensive.
Also did you replace the front splitter with the same one?!

Cheers, must say, it looks much better without the fogs! I'm sold :Do
And ordered from BMW. £56.95 with 5% discount!
