Neil's Coupe

They're oem Style 95's. Originally fitted to e65 7 series.

Slightly lower offset so I'd get away with not needing a spacer, but would need to have a lot of stretch on the rear to work (if I were to go for a staggered set which would be the obvious thing to do)

Thanks MM!

Well it's {supposedly) summer...yet is all miserable and raining so lets play a game.

Just picked something up for the Zed....a finishing item if you will.

Guesses? A hit for you all, it's a BMW OE part.

Love them! Don't think I've seen a Z with these. What sizes are they?
I take it you got all 4 and not just 1!?

yup all 4

19x9 & 19x10

Will take them back to bare metal, repair the damaged areas and send them off to paint.

Once the tyres are mounted, will probably put them up for sale. (These wheels are just something I've always wanted, but am still after something 19", dished, staggered & split)

Nice! Do you have any pictures of these on a car? Or a Z? In two minds weather to change mine and these are pretty nice!

F..., I was planing to fit them on my car :( now I need to find something else

No updates as I'm now back in the library working for a the next set of exams in August.

Would have been rude to not snap this after washing/polishing/waxing the car at midnight.

188. Summer by NeilllP, on Flickr

Update time!

Been a little MIA recently, summer exams and all that good stuff.

Now that's all over I decided how I really wanted to make my audio setup convenient.

The plan was always going to be a HRT iStreamer as an outboard DAC for my iDevice into my sound processor...but that didn't provide optical out, not something that was critical, but something I wanted to use given my sound processor had the provision for it.

So cue the device to solve all my needs and more.

About to go wifi and optical in the car. by NeilllP, on Flickr

For anyone that's unaware, it's basically a wi-fi router with a few conveniences built in (audio streaming via Air Play and USB port sharing)

The unit itself runs of a kettle lead but ultimately runs of 3.5v dc so a usb charger along with a transistor will be needed.

Setting it up was easy enough and ended up with this...

In car wifi because optical out. by NeilllP, on Flickr

Immediate thoughts are it's really stepped up the quality of the audio and has the convince of not needing to plug in any wires at all. Not really had a chance to hit the road with it fitted yet but so far everything looks promising.

Also credit where it's due, the idea was taken from Mighty Car Mods who took the idea from Ben Novakovic, Twitter's sound guy.
