just put the zed through its MOT (passed with flying colours) but I also noticed that I've only done a paltry 1,247 miles since last year :(

I do that amount in about 2 weeks. Although my mate did 320 miles in his CSL over the last year.

lol, thats why i wont buy a second car, i would never do any miles in the z

i have currently done 6k in a year. if i had a second car, you can bet it would be more like 1k

The Zed is my second car :D
All my miles are 'fun miles' (I did do the National on Sat so that added a few hundred) :driving:

just did 2800 miles in 12 days in the Targa, which looking through its service records is roughly in line with its annual mileage since it was put on the road in 2009 :o

i bet you wouldnt dream of doing that many miles in the winter :P

Had mine 2 months, just done about 1500 miles. Intend to do more from now on, once the E46 is sold. (ends tonight on fleaBay).

I have covered about 140,000 miles on various airlines over the same period and still found time to put 18,000 miles on my daily drive so maybe I'm getting out enough... Just in the wrong vehicle (those trans-Atlantic journeys might be a challenge in the zed though)

My E89 is one year old at the end of this month, should just about break the 6000 mile barrier by then.

A week in Cornwall last month helped to boost the reading.

Poor show. There's a bunch pf lycra clad blokes in France right now, who'll do more than that in a week. ON PUSH BIKES :o

Get :driving:

Yeh, you're right of course, its the warm weather and the long evenings - feel like we have to make the most of it while it lasts. I definitely won't be using it as much in the winter. Can't imagine coming home from work on a dark wet and windy evening and thinking 'lets drive to the coast and buy fish and chips and take the long way home' :)

The winter drives are some of the best. Crisp crystal clear evenings. Might only be an hour after an early finish, sun diving for the horizon then starlit sky of diamonds glistening above your favourite switch back route. That's Nirvana for me. :driving: :D

Damn it, and I was hoping to keep the miles down over the winter :driving:

Sorry Marlon. Zed Roadsters are just too much fun to lock away for the winter. :D
