Ok a friend needs a new car.

Got to be Hardtop convertible, 4 seats, would prefer front wheel drive as drives a lot of rural roads all year round and finds the rear wheel drive a bit slippery,
and not too big.
Reliable
She has an MX5 on a 63 plate that is coming to the end of the lease.

Thanks Stuart

Sorry should of put this in the Lounge.

Peugeot 30..something sounds like the unfortunate answer to your friends quest. It will break down the first time it see's a puddle but there you go. The French make some fine cars, just keep the electrics away from water.

Thanks for your help guys

I think if her budget will stretch to it the best option would be a 435d xDrive as that pretty much fits the bill.

SWMBO has the 420D convertible (company lease). Loves it. in x-drive mode with more power it would be a fine machine.
