Hello guys,

I am finally in the stage of choosing new brake rotors, the thing is that I´m a complete noob in this sector....
Will REAR brake rotors with the following preferences fit my 2.5i Z like OEM???

"Brake Disc...0 280 mm Br. Disc Thickness 10,0 mm Min. thickness 8,4 mm Brake Disc Type Full Num. of holes 5 High-carbon Pitch Circle 0 120 mm Height 60 mm Centering Diameter 75 mm Inner Diameter 160,8 mm Bore 0 14,5 mm With screws"

Many thanks,
Daniel :driving:

What confuses me is the wheel hub (the rusty thing between the rotor and rim), is the hub a part od the brake rotor?

What I am afraid of when ordering a REAR rotor is that if the "hub" is a part of the rotor than possibly it will not be fat enough like the OEM one. Does Zimmermann make rotors for ment for the rear application anyways? Thanks for your help so far Aebous

All the ones I have seen from Zimmerman show the hub (or another name for it is rotor hat) and the rotor itself as a single piece. Where ever you decide to order your rotors you will need to spell out specifically the year/model etc of your car. Perhaps a VIN # given to the supplier will work. It is easy with BMW's, including Z4's to get the wrong size hub. I am assuming you are replacing both rear hubs at the same time right? Go with a reputable outfit that understands exactly what you want, most will be more than happy to make sure you are getting the correct product the first time.

Good luck.

The hub is behind the hat.

The seller claims it should fit the rear just fine... Just want to make sure before I buy, I posted the preferences of the rotor above, however it doesen´t make any sense to me to be honest. :D

Correct, I used the wrong term.

I know when I ordered my front rotors from the zeckenhause site it was a direct swap. I'd imagine the rear rotors would be the same. You just have to make sure you get the rotor that they say is for your year 2.5

Will do, if they don´t match then I will return them - good thing that the dealer is here in CZ :P
