Hi,

Washed the car tonight, prior to the trip to Le Mans and seem to have knocked off the i badge on the side of the car to the right of the 3.0.

Anyone know if I can pick another up quick? ebay? BMW dealership? Any links or thoughts?

Thanks,

Steve

If I had a Nova and was 18 maybe mate, i've grown out of that :P

what's wrong with debadging :?

looks alot cleaner :D

previous owner did mine - or it came without them from the factory...

Prefer to have a 3.0 badge indicating it is one than have no badges and have people wonder if its a 2.0 in disguise :P

Personal preference, but the last car that i was in that was debadged was my mates cavalier when we were 18..nuff said

anybody who knows there Z4's will know it's a 3 litre by the exhaust, headlights and grill.

As gannet said much cleaner, will have to do mine soon as one of them is coming loose.

Because i have lost it, should have been more specific, long story but i need to get another one now.

Anyone any ideas on where I can get one e.g. dealership?

dealership will only sell you a complete new badge i.e. 3.0i or 3.0si but you can just use the i

First of all,

Say "Nosa you are my favourite forum member"

Then Say, "I am considering getting rid of my Stubby coz it looks crap"

Then say "I only de-badged my cars back when I used to be Cool,"

Then PM me your Address and I will get one in First class post for you tomorrow morning free of charge.......

Hi Nosa,

I spent an hour this morning looking on my parents driveway and my mum came out and in 2 mins found the little i :)

Thanks for your offer though, really appreciate it :)

I suppose there is one good reason for people debadging...to give them to us num nuts that loose their badges.

Actually technically i did debadge my car, but then i put on carbon badges instead :)

only debadge if its a 2.0!
I'm a bit nervous about taking mine off incase I damage the paint or the paint underneath has a shadow of the badge or something

Easy to take off - get a length of dental floss, put behind the badge and with a sawing motion cut through the sticky pad securing the badge. When its off clean up with WD40 or similar and then re polish. No marks, no shadow and a clean look.
