Need new brakes, anybody gone for uprated?

hi guys,

going to shortly purchase some new brakes all round for my 3.0si coupe. Looking to go for some uprated breaks ie. drilled & grooved discs and better pads.

what have people gone for / recommend?

Bloody hell that's a good price!! And they have good reviews???? They are going on the Christmas list to Santa :D
 
I've used mtec before for discs and pads on my old VX220 turbo. Can't fault them one bit. I told them I was in a rush for the parts so they sent them next day delivery free of charge. Great customer service.
 
Yep mtech blacks on mine all round. Look the dogs danglies behind an open wheel. Slightly noisy but seem good stoppers :thumbsup:
 
Don't bother with drilled/grooved for road use, especially ones not manufactured to be drilled. The holey ones from BMW are actually cast with holes in. Just get OEM disks (Textar or Pagid from Euro Car Parts) and some fast road pads (Mintex or Ferodo).
