Need man input

That's really nice. Messengers bags are great for blokes, nice shape and sits nice, especially when the strap is slung across the chest. Have one, do it.

How about a nice leather man bag. Mine goes with me everywhere stuffed with my iPad, camera etc.. Fits in the space behind the seats in the zed no bother. Might need some coaching in man bag etiquette if he hasn't had one before.

Saw this the other day and quite tempted myself...

Less is more with designer bags. Looks a bit naff with BOSS in huge lettering across it.

Oh and dress it up all you like as a "messenger bag" but it's still a handbag in my eyes! :fuelfire:

I find that when traveling to areas we don't know. It's nice to have the Ipad, maps, P&S camera. passports. Intl drivers lic. so on & so forth. So a man bag does come in handy. And in a high risk pick pocket area. one can place the bag more to the front and have their arm/hand over the front. When I'm in our local area. I don't bother.

Any number of men have them in mainland Europe... not caught on as much over here yet...

I need some man advice. It's my husbands birthday tomorrow. I'm taking him away for a weekend but I still haven't got him anything to open in the morning and I'm struggling.
Did Mr M enjoy all his presents Carol?

This is the one I use. It really is a bicycle messenger bag. Has a waist strap that keeps it off your knees while biking. But stores away while doing a walkabout.
See quite a few shoulder bags over here.

This is what I use. Very versatile, great for work (I walk a lot in my job but need to cart quite a lot of files, laptop etc around with me) and travel (holds loads of stuff for continental travel). Tumi quality as well. I've had mine for years and it still looks virtually brand new.

When I'm not at work - either a North Face ruck-sack if I need to carry a lot, or my pockets if I don't !

He did! They all went down very well. Major brownie points for me!
However, the present that got the best reaction was a t-shirt from son which said....

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I've got Alzheimer's
Cheese on toast

375!!!! Yikes! For that money. I'd hire a street urchin. The Jack Wolfskin was about 40 Euro.

Tumi is the quality though. I bought mine 10 years ago in the US and it just lasts forever, even after overloading.
