Hi all,

I would like to ask for your valuable opinions and advice. Two years ago, I began repairing and restoring a car that belonged to my father, with the goal of returning it to its former glory. A thorough cleaning was carried out to remove all traces of rust.

Following the wise advice of my cousin, I opted for the use of an antirust varnish in order to prevent any formation of rust, and so far no traces of corrosion have been noted.

However, one question remains: I would like to repaint certain parts of the bike. Is it possible to apply a second coat of paint on top of the anti-rust varnish, or will this cause complications?

Thank you very much for your informed suggestions.

I don't know the product personally, so won't comment on it per se, but the website seems to imply that it's meant as a finished coat rather than just a rust treatment.
