Take of the footwell trim below the fuse box. Reroute your blue wire along the bulkhead, a few cable ties to secure help (but not too tight initially).

A nut on some string fed through the electronics box in the engine bay then tape the wire to it and pull back up. Make sure you know which pin you're connecting to, the BMW instructions are wrong for a few models.

What model and build date (or VIN)? I'll check WDS

I think I’m looking for pin 4 and this is the only connector with pin 4 free.

X60002 should be the one to the left of the right most block of them all in a line and I wouldn't expect it to be white.

Thanks Steve, should the block say x60002 in it?

Can I use any of the pins listed above?

I don't think they are labelled, are you counting from the right end? 26 pin connectors are usually split into 2x 13 pins, sometimes all numbered, sometimes just the first and last.

You can't connect to any other pin, though if you put it in an incorrect empty one it *shouldn't* cause any issues but don't take that as gospel.

I only have 3 26pin blocks and the only one with pin 4 free is the white block.

What makes you think it won’t be the white one?

And it's the far one? WDS is usually pretty good but if it is connector one in from the right and the outer is black (with the others matching the list above) then it should be the one.
