Hello - So I have been searching for a 3.0si coupe. I found one at a local dealer and test drove it the other day. I noticed when driving it, it seemed to jump sometimes almost like it couldn't get into gear. Right before turning off the car saw the automatic transmission light turn on. Told the dealer and they sent it into BMW to get checked. BMW service said it might be battery but turned out to be a loose ground bolt on the engine mount, caused the car to go out 1/2 second. BMW fixed it and it is ready now. Checked carfax and was involved in minor fender bender (clean title) bumper was repainted but not replaced as damage was not bad.
Do you guys think it is safe to purchase this vehicle or should I keep looking? Dealership has been great and honest thus far, but just scared to have something wrong with it or resell value be hard down the road.
