Need help finding fault with heated rear window

Hi Guys

As per title my heated rear window in my 2006 soft top is not working, it did work last winter so not sure what is going on. I have have checked fuse 20 and 25 and they are ok and the light on the heater control does come on when the button is pressed. i expect there should be a relay to control the circuit does anyone know where it would be and how to check it is working properly? (i do have a multi-meter). Also if there is anything else i could check it would be appreciated to know.

If you have the roof down quite a bit, the connector into the rear window becomes loose.
Just unplug it and plug it back in...usually sorts it.

You’ll find it on drivers side going into the rear window.

Thanks for the reply, I've just had a look in the dark but I can't see where you are talking about. Is it attached to the hood itself? Does the hood need to be up or down? Is it accessible behind the drivers seat or through the boot? I can't see much behind therewith the wind deflcter fitted. Any chance you have a photo of the area?

Yes, accessible with roof up, it connects to the rear window from the inside of the hood, drivers side ( it is in my 2004, check passenger side on yours) .

You can see and feel the connector, a small black plug going into the top side of the glass.
