This is my first time adding anything to my 5 year old zed, so i need some advice. I ｊｕｓｔ ｃａｌｌｅｄ ｔｈｅ ｌｏｃａｌ ＢＭＷ ｄｅａｌｅｒ ｈｅｒｅ ｉｎ Ｔａｉｗａｎ， ａｎｄ ｔｈｅｙ ｓａｉｄ ＢＭＷ ｍａｎｕｆａｃｔｕｒｅｄ ｒｉｍｓ ａｒｅ ９００ＵＳＤ ｐｅｒ ｒｉｍ after exhange rate． Ｎｏｗ， ｔｈａｔ ｓｏｕｎｄｓ ａ ｌｉｔｔｌｅ ｅｘｐｅｎｓｉｖｅ ｄｏｎ’t you guys think? I could've swore they ran 450USD or so, looking at the official z4 2003 assescories pamphlet. 900 is just way out of the ball park. So, with that path closed, do you guys recommend replicas, and if so, which replicas are the best? I don't want to be seen as cheap, but here on this little island, cars like BMW's retail for double the price compared to the Europe and the USA. My puny 16 inch look way too girly, hopefully i can give it some testosterone for new years.
Again, since this is my first time looking for parts for my zed, any help or pointers are helpful, especially on the quality of replicas. If they are terrible, then i will just stick with the originals.
