So I'm sick of drying out my headlight after changing bulb
I need a replacement E85 ginger passenger side headlight if anyone knows where I can find one, needs to be good condition
Please help :headbang:

You just need a new rear cover to the headlight, will stop moisture getting in.

You will find the problem most likely is the seal on the inspection cover.
The cover complete with seal is around. £12 from BMW (Sopers)

Thanks for your comments, the biggest problem I'm having is getting rid of the water in there, if I need to remove the bumper I might as well fit a fresh dry sealed unit.

Park the car facing the sun with the back plate off for a few hours... Then refit (new) backing plate

Back cover off, remove main beam bulb, insert a length of garden hose, shove funnel in the outer end of the hose, steal wifes/girl friends hair dryer, aim into funnel, hot air enters headlight, 15-20 mins later dry headlight, reverse process, replace rear covers with silicone grease or vaseline on the rubber seals. Simples

THIS.

I was coming to say exactly the same thing - mine got drowned out once, and this is EXACTLY what I did

(except it was my hairdryer.. cos I'm a bit feminine like that)

If you take the rear cover off the light and put a couple of the gel silica pouches found in most new shoe boxes in the back of the light will remove moisture as this is what they are designed to do! It actually works!
