This has already been tried on this forum a few years ago........with a E85 that was modified ( ruined) ........ and quite a few forumites donated after it was alleged some major parts were stolen. From memory little was heard not long after that :|

We have had a couple of instances of people wanted and were given money to improve their Z4 at the expense of forum members.Both were failures.
