Planning on going on the Fri as its less busy and intend having a look on the BMW stand at the classic beemers and seeing if there's a z8 there or not , anyone going on here ?

I went last year and there was an Z8 then i might go this year, will have to ask the misses if i can go.

Saw about 10 Z8s at zedfest this year, and Vidge brought his Dad's on the Sussex Meet... Though he did nearly lose it in a hedge, and the engine wasn't even switched on :D

They are gorgeous though

I am never going to live that down am I!!!!! :headbang:  however I would point out there was no hedge there just a large field!

I went to the Essen classic car show this year and it was truly amazing!

The hedge was at the bottom of the field where the car would have finished up if it wasn't for your friend :poke:

Gotta love the looks of the Z8, a fabulous classic...too bad they forgot to give it a proper chassis though :(

Dear oh dear :headbang:

If i had a SH1T load of money lying about i would be very tempted to buy one of these and get it build and painted the exact same as my dads, then stick it at the bottom of the pool and hide the real one!

would be a great practical joke!

I'm coming down with three mates from Newcastle. It's worth the journey - nowhere will you see the variety and quality of classic cars. We've visited about 4 years now and like you, we're trying a Friday to see if it's a bit quieter. We shall see. there's the bonus of seeing classic motorcycles as well (if that's your thing) AND modern supercars even hotrods. There's lots of halls to look around and stalls full of tools and equipment. Well worth our 8 hour round trip then! Recommend it, though £25 does seem a bit rich!

Yes its a lot quieter , always go Fri , masses of fantastic cars there and loads of other stuff car related. Spend far too much time chatting to classic folks on stands who restore their cars to as new condition , this show is a must !

Use codes 2012SC to get a discount on single tickets and 2012FC for family tickets. :)
i

They don't seem to discount on Fri even with the code which is a pain , looking forward to Fri now as its nearly here !
