Out in my wife's Fiesta today (stick with me), cruising up the motorway, about 65mph.
Thought I'd slip it into 6th gear (6th gear. On a fiesta??).
So that's the one marked with an 'R' then!!!!!

Luckily, reverse has an audible warning

I do that in my own car. The Daily only has 5 fwd gears. If we've been away for a week in the Zed and I jump back in the Mazda I often go for revers from 5th. Fortunately it beeps and I've never lifted my foot of the clutch. :lol:

I have to remind my mum when she is driving my Dads M3 to change to 6th. She gets to 5th and forgets there is more gears. She drives a 6 speed auto usually. Drives me mad
