Finally the Coupe is getting where I want her to be, bits either cleaned or replaced. She’s had a full MOP, and interior detail, new heat shields, brake pads, blue music adaptor, replaced the rotted X / cat pipe bolts, new badges, exhaust tips, stubby, ZHP gear knob and bucket load of new bolts…..and that paint in the sun 😍

Beautiful, love that colour and how it sparkles in bright direct sunlight and in indirect sunlight, like on the second photo, is a play of deeper hues.
 
Decided to refinish the tired braces, strut brace and bumper retaining plate in mat black - not everyone’s take admittedly but I think it works well, as do “erm the stripes!!!

This level of detail is right up my street and this is exactly the same route I’m going down over winter.
It is weird how the slam panel is prone to corrosion, mine’s started too mainly by the bonnet catch.
Anyway awesome work 👏👏👏
