Near to buying a Z4M roadster...

Have to say, I saw a few interlagos blue Zs at Silverstone last week, and in the sunshine they looked absolitely beautiful. Would definitely be a tie between that and Titan silver after imola, and even then the silver would need red leather like ZermattVs.

Yes but they also put the shitters through auction to get rid of them... This went through auction a while ago I believe.

Speak to Amy at Silverstone she is a good salesperson there, they won't mess you around :thumbsup:
 
The longer I think about that imola one the more I'm beginning to convince myself that it probably is a good genuine car actually if the service history is all good, I would just have a look at it and as bing said you can specifically look at the body where the auction house pointed out but it has been said they are very eagle eyed and could have been very minimal.

My guess is that it got put into the auction by a Porsche dealership or similar but that's just a hunch! But you should be able to get a good £800 quid off the advertised price if you push. This second, current dealer has had it a few weeks now.

Oddly not yet seen another Titanium roadster with Imola- Coupes yes .

I would post my photo entry for this month which contains all 3 but can't get the link to work on IPhone.
 
Negotiations can be hard going, I wanted to get mine for £16,000, screen price was £17,000.

I got him (the owner) down to £16,250 and at this point he let me walk away. After a long drive home considering things and a forum full of people telling me "do it" I called back and got a full tank thrown in. Deal done!!!

Also when buying from a dealer you do get some protection should anything go wrong.

The interlagos one with the spoiler (which personally I like, but it is a very marmite addition to the car) has been up for sale almost as long as the red one has been on AT.

The red one has only been on AT with two dealers, and only disappeared once for about a week, presumably whilst they got it delivered and took the time to take some crap pictures.

I have said it before about this car on at least one other thread - I want a red one, and if I was in the place to buy right now with no forum options, I would at least go take a look. The colour could be putting a lot of people off, as could the mileage - many consider 50k too high for these cars. Loads of the ///Ms on there have been up for sale for a long time. They can't all be sh1t.

Love how you can see all the definition of the front spoiler & air vent in that piccie ZermattV :thumbsup: it really shows the detail on yours, I hated mine in black for that you just can't see the detail.
 
That's my thought bing.
These cars aren't bought by the rash car buyer.
They are thirsty and the m badge puts people off because of fears of high service costs.
Therefore, like I had previously done, they get a 3.0 instead.
The M's just seem to take longer to find the buyers as there are not many people out there who would nessecarily justify it.

I looked over the auction report and there is nothing on there that makes me think the car is a bad one.
It's over 6 years old and they don't 'pretty' then up for auction, whereas a dealer, IME, gets any small scratches / dents sorted, like you would if your own car got dinged.
 
Whichever colour you go for you'll be happy, so maybe ask yourself which would make you smile most as you walk up to it?
 
I think the trouble is both would make you smile - drive both and get the best deal you will love the one you bought but occasionally admire one in the other colour.

And ignore my blatant desperate plug for the photo comp in the last few hours of it :oops:
 
I was also looking at the Imola one, but after speaking with the dealer, decided against it.
Although the last service was in sept 12, the previous service to that was in 09. 3 years is too long in my opinion for the oil not to be changed. May be me being to picky, but other than tat, it does look very nice.
