If anyone could help. I’m located in Chester area but can travel to collect. I work up north in Teeside.

My car is 2006 Silver Grey. Had a bad morning. :headbang:

Don't know if it helps but I was casually perusing Ebay last night and noticed that someone is selling a lot of panels for a silver grey one.
Sure there was a door and a couple of sills on there?

In the end I found a repair shop in Cheshire with an excellent reputation. JPW Body Repairs. It's booked in to be repaired next week. His current cars were M5s, Jags and other high end cars. They even had a uniform. Very professional and accommodating. I will post my feedback once complete in case anyone else needs repairs.

Im new to Cheshire and been looking for a reputable repair shop as the guy I've used up north for 20 years has retired.

Ive had an eventful week with the Z4. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Replaced the ABS sensor. One week later same again but I think me drilling the brass sleeve where the bolt goes through and damaged it. The original bolt sheared off and I had to drill it out and tap a new thread. It was 1mm out and the sensor would not align so made the hole bigger for more tolerance. It worked but I think I blew it in the process.

I bought an original BMW part and it came in an antistatic bag which tells you they are delicate and susceptible to static. Drilling will not have helped.

INPA was great for detecting wheel speed active. The first replacement had no speed detected at all. Checked for supply voltage, all good. New sensor and boom, worked like a charm (no more drilling).

Just looking forward to the repairs being done as I struggle to look at it. :headbang:
