Near Misses?

The "fell" road past Sellafield at shift change is a nightmare if you are travelling in the opposite direction!

Ahh - the Corney fell road (safer to follow the coast road)
I made that mistake once - only once though!
They are mental, I was just glad to get to the other end in one piece
Don't get between those boys and their dinner!! :D

Back on topic, im thinking it could actually be the colour thing, given most of these happened (except the porsche) after work when its dark. :thumbsdown:

Living in the town, in a student area :evil: I have the same issue, and this afternoon on the way home I was meet by two vehicles.

The first found a space to let me through, the second sat there, until realising I wasn't going [as I couldn't go] anywhere, and eventually backed up into a space ... ish.

On my suggestion :wink: he did a slightly better job of it so I had a fighting chance of passing between him and the parked cars on the NS - I only just clipped the NS car mirror, honest guv :roll:

No damage to my Z4, the "parked" car? WGAF! Mirrors fold in don't they? :rofl:

Try driving regularly on Cornish back roads and you get realy good at reversing, for other cars and buses and tractors and fox hunts and Animals. It took me 30 mins to get past several lost cattle, last summer. I ended up parking the Zed, in someones driveway, whilst I walked down the lane and chases the daft buggers back up on to the moor. :)
 
I think anywhere within 500 yards of a school between 3:00 and 3:30 there always appears to be an amateur dramatics recreation of the events of "Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior"

I used to just put it in neutral and give it a little gas. That and because my horn never worked. :poke:
 
Drive with your headlights on 365 days, 24/7. As I do in every vehicle, works for me....so far, so good!
 
Black E86, several near misses. People just don't seem to look twice these days. You can't really judge speed that well with one glance.

Yep think thats it.

Also lights are on 24/7 this time of year anyway as its typically crappy and dark most the time.
 
Had a near miss one day when somebody pulled into the outside lane without looking, then the bloke stuck the forks up at me!!!! WTF????
