NCB on a second insurance policy

I have a vehicle that is insured and have full NCB on it, but I also have a separate insurance policy on my motorbike, which I have now sold can I use the NCB I built on my motorbike to go towards insuring a Z4

Unlikely. Whilst lots of similarities, bike and car are different kind of risks, so you'll probably have a hard time finding an insurer who will take it. Much more likely to find an insurer who will recognise your car NCB and apply a discount accordingly.

Ultimately though, there isn't a single person on here who can answer your question, you're just gonna have to make those calls and visit those websites.

Good luck

Logic says yes...

Depending on your ins company get ready to expect a no...

Experience from seeing posts on this forum,... it can be yes, can be no from the same ins company.... depending on which operator you speak to.

As above, speak to them & FYI have found LV very accommodating over the last few years.

When I first got a second car my local broker found an insurer who would mirror the NCB on my 1st car, so that could be an option worth exploring.

Mr Tidy is correct - some insurers can mirror your car bonus onto a 2nd car. You still begin from zero actual years but you get the benefit of the discount nonetheless. Usually bike bonus is not transferable to cars and vice versa I'm afraid.
