Navigation Query E89

One of the worst things about the Nav unit on my 2010 car is that it only lets you input the first number from the second part of the post code - my RRS and now newer BMW/Mini allow you to put the full address in - is there anything I can to do to update the system to allow this happen - ie putting in the full postcode?

Any help would be appreciated

Get a better butler surely he should know the way to Harrods from any part of London :rofl:

Seriously, not heard of any mods similar to what is available to us with the MKIV nav unfortunately. It's all down to the licensing required for full postcode lookup I believe. BMW aren't willing to pay it so it isn't available as standard. :thumbsdown:
 
Ben....you'd know I'd be shot if the upper classes knew I was talking to you :D

The new Mini has full look up - and as the Nav is hard drive based and not DVD based - how can I upgrade it? Think you mentioned that you did it - can my unit be done?
