Navigation Marker won't go away

I have the built in MKIV navigation system and there is a marker on the map that will not go away. This maker is seperate from the guidance portion. It only shows up when I just put it in general map view. I can't figure out any way of deleting it and there is always a white line that leads to it using the most efficient path on the streets.

Does anyone have any idea at all of how to get rid of the white flag marker on the map?

It's probably a poi marker. Go into the info menus and search for petrol station or something and see if it drops that marker and starts showing petrol stations instead

My guess is a dead pixel, try gently rubbing the screen. Sometimes that can work

Well the flag seems to be sitting on top of my apartment building now. I suppose that will work for me. The nav system is just a little flaky.

Sounds like you have route set to your home, you need to cancel it.
