Navigation DVD update worth it?

I have a 2003 european maps sat nav dvd at the moment, is it worth getting a newer version? (I've already updated to the latest software)
My local dealership have a couple of copies of the 2007 europe maps for £60, which beats the usual price but will I really get much benefit from the newer maps other than a few new roads?
Or can the DVD's be aquired elsewhere? :poke:
 
2003 will not have the M6 toll for example.

I would go for the £99 upgrade by trading in your existing disk, you would get 2008-2 disk.
 
A 2003 disk is likely using maps produced in early 2002 so you are at least 6 years out of date. It's staggering how many roads have changed in that time. Not just major like the M6T that PVR mentions, but most cites 1 way systems, restricted roads, etc. etc.

You certainly need to update it if you intend to rely on it in any useful manner.
