Navi Encoding Question

What is the Difference between the High and Professional Version dvd maps
and how do i check which version do i got..

You need 'High' for your Z4. Professional is for the I-drive cars like a 5 series.

(somewhat confusing I know, since you have 'Professional' Nav!) :wink:
 
Do you get a picture of your sat position at all? I.e. what is your screen showing?
 
I think my problem is where i am living in fairly a new development. From the secret menu i get about 3-5 satallights. but when i go on the
main roads the "Correct Guidance Destination not Possible" error comes off. when i finally got the lady to speak it usually says that i am not on a digitized road then the Correct Guidance Destination not Possible error comes up. So i think i just need the updated HIGH 2009.1 MAP.

That would explain a lot, the system thinks you are driving accross a field.

I would agree that you need newer maps
 
The only thing that surprises me is that if you are entering an "old" road, all should be well. I assume you have driven out of your new development on older roads? At that stage you should have been ok.
 
i sometimes get a voice "the destination is not on a digitised area of the map" or something when i get to my parents because it's down a long private track.

never seen a visual message of this, so if you haven't got the voice working, how do u know ?

maybe it's something to do with the wheel sensors and satelites not being in sync yet as he hasn't done enough miles "on the map"?
