Great pics Mr Marlon, i just wanted to highlight which car was the only 1 to maintain a roof down stance throughout the day  is there a reward?

Thanks Taz.
Seeing you in my rear mirror over Buttertubs Pass in that torrential downpour with your roof down was astonishing :o :D

i did get a tad wet lol, just proves us born and bread coupe men are tuffer than yer average roadster owner :poke:

Check out the photo near the beginning of Marlon's long photo post. Two E89's one light silver the other Valencia orange - silver one is sammyz's.

Thanks to Craig and John for a great weekend. Good to see old and new faces as well. :D
In the bar now with Jim,heading south tomorrow . :driving:

Really enjoyed the weekend, we managed miles of near empty roads and some stunning scenery. Great to meet old friends and make some new ones!

Big thanks to Craig for his tireless work in getting this organised. People really do appreciate all your efforts  (not when you get them lost though :poke: )

Had a great weekend!
Fantastic roads, fantastic bunch of folk!
Only 556 miles over the 2 days to celebrate my first year of ownership!

Some more pics from Day 2

Starting point with a gatecrasher!
Was really funny when we were all queued at a junction in one of the villages, a bunch of bikers were admiring the cars and one shouts. " look there's a Porche in the queue, haha, did you gave to trade down mate"

+1 on this. Big thanks to both Craig and John(sammyz) for their excellent work in making this an unmissable event in the Z4 calendar.
Great seeing old friends and a few new ones.
Nice to see more E89's in attendance. Give it a couple of years and they'll outnumber the E85/86's.
I'm with Dave(bladeowner) in the bar at the Crooklands enjoying some beers after our takeaway curry. Heading home to London tomorrow.
Can't wait until next year now. For any that have considered attending and haven't, then please try and attend next year. You won't be dissappointed.

Signing off

Jim aka The Southern Softie :)

Just want to add my thanks to Craig & John once again.

Still think being at the back of the pack, with plenty of opportunities to catch up', is as much fun as chasing Craig at the front :P

All weekend there was a maniac at the back in an Alfa 400 bhp diesel flashing to overtake the Zed convoy :D

Had a great few days running the new car in - thanks to Craig and John for organising the event.
Looking forward to next year - hope the weather will be kinder

Steph and I had a fabulous time as per usual  - the location and hotel really works and we even got the BBQ in despite stair-rods lashing down only an hour before!
Always a highlight meeting up with friends and meeting new forumites. The weather on Saturday was a bit odd as it doesn't normally rain at the Nationals :o but it didn't dampen our spirits and it did make for some concentrated driving  Sunday's driving brought us back to the usual fine weather and the traffic was on side - a great day's driving

Once again thanks to Craig and John - really appreciate all the effort and organisation - magic
