National no.7,Lakes and Dales meet,Fri/1st,Sat.2nd/Sunday3rs July,2016,at CROOKLANDS,KENDAL

Just in case there is any of that rain lurking, canwhoever it was that brought the big Gazebo thing we all stood under St one point, bring it again, just in case,lol......it was back in 2014, when we had 23c weather all weekend except the Saturday night!

I think it was Bladeowner/Dave or Grumpybri/Brian??

If possible,thanks.

Hope it will be dry as it normally has been for us though :D

I brought my fishing brolly and it was used to shelter the bbq that year. I'll bring it again.

can anyone give a rough approximation of mileage planned for Saturday please? Just having a look at the nearest petrol station and it's looking dire so planning needed!
Thanks in advance

Don't think we do that many miles in a day, so even at 20mpg you should get well over 200 miles from a tank.

Never had a problem in the couple of years I've attended. Just fill up the evening before / morning of the drive at one of the two fairly local petrol stations that sell super unleaded. The closest one is about 5 mins away, and there's a Shell station about 10 minutes in the other direction.

Will be in the Alfa unfortunately.

You can keep us company in the renegades section at the back mate (unless half of them go the wrong way like last year in which case we'll move up the order a bit!)

Hoping to come across for a drive and catch-up for one of the days at least - the wetter it gets the more likely the Lotus will be staying in the garage tho  Would be a shame to miss out on our seventh national.

Until the week-end all. Tony.

There's a Petrol Station a 1/4 from the 2 Campsites where we fill up each morning.
Can get a Coffee etc as well there.

Totally pi$$ed off. Gone out to wash car ready for the weekend and have found a scuff the size of football on the rear bumper :headbang:

Hoping it will polish out but some of the scratches look pretty deep. :x

Nooooo! :headbang: I find these all the time on the family hack Skoda when we park at Tescos - never had a note or anything :x

I dread finding such a mark on the Zed  Commiserations  :( Best get it sorted asap and then move on - unless you have CCTV where you've been . . .

No CCTV I'm afraid Paul. It must have happened yesterday when it was parked in our local town centre while Julie was at work. This is the second time its been damaged in 8 weeks of ownership. We had to have a dent removed from the passenger side rear wing a couple of weeks after we got the car. Anyway, I've spent the last couple of hours with various cutting compounds and managed to remove most of the scratches.

Just about to start washing and waxing my Zed if the rain holds off long enough. :headbang:

I'm airing my tent out now in the pi$hing down rain

Don't think I'll bother cleaning car:(

Car cleaned, polished and waxed on Monday night, had seen forecast for rest of week so took the opportunity, the full cover has been on since but with 180+ miles to get there I'm not sure if it was worth the effort!
Really looking forward to getting there, enjoying some great driving, :driving: :D

Ive just had the big service and MOT passed today with no advisories, I will be there for both days staying overnight in a B&B one junction down the M6. I'm looking forward to my first meet with you guys. :D
