National no.7,Lakes and Dales meet,Fri/1st,Sat.2nd/Sunday3rs July,2016,at CROOKLANDS,KENDAL

Still not had the go ahead from the insurance company to replace/rebuild my diff.

My engineer and their engineer are discussing it, and every time my engineer gives them an answer, the insurer goes away to think up more questions.

Car has done less than 1000 miles since December

:headbang:

Or,if people just want to donate money, then that's fine too.

Car hasn't moved since I got it back from my specialist/engineer at the start of May.

Even if they give me the go ahead today, it will probably take months to get it done.

It's drivable, but driving it will just make the diff worse and then might require a more extensive/expensive rebuild, so I'm holding off so that I can show the insurance company that it's off the road until they give me an answer. If they okay the rebuild/replacement then I'll come as it won't matter if I make it worse.

Hi Jim,hows things mate.
All good. Looking forward to the meet?
Be good to catch-up with you(and everyone else) as always.....one of the highlights of the forum calendar for me :D :driving:

The only other car I've got access to is is my daily 115bhp Alfa 147 JTD, so that's unlikely to be able to keep up - unless it's lashing it down as it's great in the rain with it's Michelin Cross-Climates :P

Just got to decide whether to cancel, or just get up there in the Alfa and then try to shotgun with someone who's passengerless.
