Well I hope you vote for it when I enter it in the July Photo Comp over in the "Gallery" forum. :D

Seriously.......I can't remember anyone taking photos during the raffle. As a suggestion can't you speak to Trev and get him to post you a pic of him in his Z wearing the watch he won? A close up obviously. No one knows it wasn't taken on the day. Other than that I don't know what to suggest.
Is the only reason that the raffle needs a mention so the sponsors get a mention?

I've uploaded all the photos I have here. There'll be some better ones I'm sure when people get around to posting theirs.

:rofl: At first I didn't understand what you said. Then once I did I was what the heck is an aerial?!? Then the lightbulb went off in my head and I made the English to English translation and figured out you meant the antenna. :poke:

Us Americans must have made the local's loose some of their accent, ya'll were a bit of a challenge to understand. Or I may of been tired :D
 
I am absolutely gutted I missed this! What an idiot!!
It was bad enough I ended up only being able to do the Sunday, but I set my alarm for 7am and slept straight through it! Woke up at 10.15! :headbang: :headbang:

Hope you had a great time guys. Hopefully next year i'll be able to claim my tin opener.

Just an update on the Raffle/Charity money....
we managed to raise around £150 for charity at our "National" Lakes/Dales meet (1 or 2 ppl still have confirm if they are donating,as i had set aside tkts for a cpl of ppl,who then couldnt make it,so will put final amount when i can).

The chosen charity organisation was left to John/Siftah to decide(as decided by all those at the bbq),and he has asked the money to go to the Christies Cancer hospital,in London & Manchester..two of the uk's largest cancer research/treatment centres :thumbsup:
Once i have sent them our donation,i will get a receipt,and post it on here in due course,thanks
 
RE Magazine article...i now have this well under way,and just have a few hundred words to do(with some help from john/sammyz)..and i will need some more photos to choose from asap.
So can all those who got some pics,please get posting them up on here/pm-ing me with them,as i know Aebous/pam,Siftah,CJ,etc,etc all took plenty of photos...
We need them for early next week,cheers :thumbsup:
